| Man, it has been forever since I have been on here and did a real update. Life has handed me one of those... I dunno... standstill moments. Ever since I restarted full time at the restaurant I've been work/sleep/work/sleep... with a good bit of cookin and cleanin in between. Like today... cleaned the bathrooms, cooked breakfast, cleaned the kitchen, swept up, and vaccuumed. Mom would be so proud. And I have to be at work in an hour now.
I miss Shakila
So, I went to visit my mom this past Tuesday after Mother's Day and baked her an oven-roasted fruit dessert. She loved it. My sister cut her hair... oh yeah, and I have a mohawk. www.myspace.com/marqthelyricist
So upset that Melinda was voted off American Idol.
My car, Damita, is still showing her age. The BCM (Body Control Module) is acting up and needs to either be replaced or reprogrammed. But of course to have it looked at is about $89... and that's before diagnosis.
I miss writing poetry.
To all of my random yet faithful readers... thank you for staying tuned in. That tracker on my site says you still visit it is much appreciated. Now that my internet works again I will try and write more poetry like I know u like.

And hope you make an attempt to come along. So...in other news... I've started working out... for real. Every other day with a giant bottle of water (I hate water)... I do a few sets of upper and lower lifting followed by an aerobic round on an elliptical machine. ( I think that's what it is called). I'm determined to have my toned definition back by the middle of the summer. So unhappy with my skinny droopiness. How you durrin? Oh... and I'm tryin out for American Idol next season... for real. |
